For over a quarter-century, Music Alive! has been bringing exciting curriculum into music classrooms across the country. Now, in response to interest from teachers like you, we are developing new materials to bring the excitement and the literacy support of Music Alive! into Language Arts classrooms.

These materials will offer the same teen-friendly focus on all different genres of great music, artists, instruments, music technology, and music careers--but will have even more focus on reading, writing, spelling, vocabulary, summarizing, evaluating, and all of the other skills that are central to the Language Arts curriculum.

Below you will find complimentary downloadable samples of articles and classroom worksheets that have been integrated with NEW lesson plans for the Language Arts class. Click any of the small images below to download a printable PDF to your computer.

Also, check out the blue and white grid summarizing how Music Alive! meets the Language Arts national standards.

Finally, you will find a letter from our editor and a brief feedback form. Please take a few moments to fill out and fax back this feedback form, as it will help us make our Language Arts materials the best they can be. Enjoy--and let us know what you think!
