In the January issue of Music Alive!, we took a closer look at the many different techniques used in fingerstyle guitar.

It’s hard to narrow fingerpicking guitar down to one lesson, because it has a place in so many different styles of music. Classical, flamenco, and folk players have fingerstyle techniques that are entirely unique to their respective genre. Watch the videos below for examples of these techniques in action.
